Biography:
Mitchell Freedman is the founder and president of both Mitchell Freedman Accountancy Corporation, specializing in business management and financial counseling for performing and creative artists and individuals with complex and unique financial needs, and MFAC Financial Advisors, Inc., a registered investment advisory firm. He is licensed as a CPA in California and New York. In addition, he earned the credentials of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) in 1988 and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) in 2007.

Freedman is a sought-after speaker and has given presentations throughout the U.S. and Canada on a variety of subjects related to tax, financial, investing, entertainment industry, and eldercare subject matters. He has appeared on CNN, "Entertainment Tonight," BBC, and numerous other television and radio programs. Mr. Freedman has written articles for and been featured in various national news, accounting, financial planning, investment, business, and general interest publications.

Mr. Freedman is a founder and past chair of California Jump$tart Coalition, a not-for-profit organization with the mission to improve the financial literacy of California's youth.
