The AAII Denver Chapter presents...
"The World and Domestic Economies: What to Watch For Now"
Discussed by:
Jim Kneser
Lecturer, Denver’s Academy for Lifelong Learning
We last heard from our April speaker in June 2009, when he correctly forecast the depth and length of Europe’s PIIGS problems and how they would drag the U.S. economic recovery. In four years, while things have changed a bit, there are new twists and geopolitical overtones. Even for those focusing portfolio holdings in the U.S., the austerity-driven European recession has major implications for “domestic” corporations’ earnings and therefore for stock prices and overall GDP during the start of the second Obama term. And what if Washington does not cut OUR deficits? Attend and get an update; challenge your current thinking. And why not bring a friend to show the value of AAII’s programs?
