The AAII Research Triangle Chapter presents...

"What Color is Your Parachute? Finding Retirement Success and Happiness"

    Discussed by:

    Haleh Moddasser, CPA
Senior Vice President, Stearns Financial Group

What are the investment and non-investment keys to finding happiness in retirement? Haleh (pronounced “Holly”) Moddasser will discuss the seven keys to successful aging crafted from her collaborative work with John Nelson, co-author of the retirement edition of the book “What Color is Your Parachute?” With future lifespans increasing and financial planning increasingly complex, can a high level of happiness be maintained in later retirement as in early retirement? Moddasser will discuss threats (investment and non-investment) to happiness later in life and what “pre-active” steps can be taken to head off major problems before they occur. She will also discuss the components of successful aging and what baby boomers are demanding in terms of home health care and senior housing options.
