This session will present successful investing principles by examining Warren Buffett’s views on investing, using the Berkshire Hathaway annual report’s Letter to Shareholders as a reference. We will examine modern portfolio theory (MPT) and the use of statistical measures such as variance and standard deviation to define risk. We will also examine Mr. Buffett’s views on portfolio diversification.
