The AAII Chicago Chapter presents...
"Tactical ETF Investing: From Idea to Execution"
Discussed by:
Timothy Strauts, CFP
ETF Analyst, Morningstar Inc.
Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) were originally designed with the long-term investor in mind. While ETFs are now components of sophisticated and short-term trading strategies, they remain the critical building blocks of retirement portfolios and other long-term investment objectives. At the January meeting of the AAII Chicago Chapter, Timothy Strauts will discuss ways to navigate the world of ETFs by outlining Morningstar’s principles of ETF investing. He will also discuss other areas of ETF study and analysis at Morningstar, including the feasibility of actively managed ETFs and the impact of tracking error.
