The AAII Denver Chapter presents...

"What Are U.S. Consumers Really Doing Right Now?"

    Discussed by:

    Richard C. Davis
    President, Consumer Metrics Institute

This program will be a real eye-opener, and the highly current information provided will help to influence your investment strategy based on how the U.S. economy is actually doing. Are you frustrated by how slowly the government reports retail sales activity (and later revises it)? Do you see large blank spots in data because some major retailers refuse to provide monthly comparable-sales data between quarters? Our January 27 speaker will help you overcome these problems, offering you an early look at what is really happening in the economy. His firm has developed an Internet-based reporting system that tracks key components of activity on a daily basis. This presentation will offer graphics updated every 48 hours or faster! The timing of our event is especially useful, as it will include the crucial post-holiday (returns/bargains) period, and thus will allow a look at how the consumer economy is acting early in the new year. This would be a great opportunity to invite a friend and show them the benefits of AAII!
