This program is designed for the investor who feels he or she may need the help of a professional. There will be a discussion of the various ways professional advisors are compensated, as well as an explanation of the various designations and licenses that advisors may receive. We will discuss how to look for an advisor using online services, the pros and cons of various organizations that list advisors, and the pros and cons of the so-called “Best of” lists. We will discuss what questions should be asked of an advisor during your initial consultation and what you should expect an advisor to ask you during that first meeting.
