The AAII Connecticut Chapter presents...
"The Currently Ignored Income Source: Dividend Investing"
Discussed by:
Harry “Hersh” Cohen
Managing Director, Senior Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer, Legg Mason’s ClearBridge Advisors
Harry “Hersh” Cohen has a long history of managing dividend strategy mutual funds. He will discuss what he believes to be a great, but overlooked, source of income: blue-chip stocks. Blue-chip stocks are currently cheap with good dividends, resulting in high yields compared to other asset classes. According to Mr. Cohen, this situation hasn’t been seen since the 1950s. He will provide his list of 15 blue-chip income stocks with great balance sheets that are currently attractive and growing dividends. He will also discuss the outlook for the market in the current economic environment.
