The AAII New York City Chapter presents...

"Finding Value in a Stormy market"

    Discussed by:

    Hersh Cohen
Senior Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer, ClearBridge Advisors

This notice was prepared after the two-day market meltdown and one-day partial reversal. In that context, the speaker’s original presentation will doubtless be modified. Hersh Cohen, who spoke to us a year ago, is a noted Wall Street authority of long standing and, in that context, he takes the long view. His views prior to the recent enormous volatility were that stocks are cheap, that dividends are high and increasing, that interest rates will continue to be low, encouraging risk taking, and that a “wall of worry” keeps a floor under stocks. We suspect that the long-term investor will find many of these conditions remain.
