The AAII Sacramento Chapter presents...
"Investment Opportunity: The Last 200 Years and the Next Eight Years"
Discussed by:
Bill Ragsdale
Editor, Good Fortune Advisory Letter
Researchers have found that social, economic and political trends evolve as different age groups reach maturity. At this meeting, Bill Ragsdale will review these sequences and explain how they brought us to the Great Recession, the Internet/NASDAQ collapse of 2000 and the debt collapse of 2008. Ragsdale will also discuss the outlook for the next eight years. Over the last 200 years, the U.S. economy has moved through repeating cycles from growth to stagnation, each period of growth or stagnation lasting about 20 years. We are currently experiencing stagnation. We’ll examine the investment opportunities and discuss the appropriate strategy to face the difficulties ahead.
