The AAII Sacramento Chapter presents...
"Estate Planning Update: What Investors Need to Know in 2012"
Discussed by:
Christopher Engh, J.D., LL.M.
Attorney at Law and Estate Planning Specialist; Partner, Kroloff, Belcher, Smart, Perry and Christopherson
Everyone needs an estate plan, no matter how large or small the size of the estate. A plan involves your property and assests and the various forms of ownership and title those assets may take. A plan also addresses your future needs in case you become unable to care for yourself. Learn about wills, trusts and medical directives. Find out if you are holding your assets in the types of accounts that best suit your plans. Learn about how to deal with spouses, ex-spouses and children in your estate plan. You may also wish to consider siblings and parents. Investors should be aware of the tax consequences of different types of accounts. Learn smart things you can do now to minimize trouble later. Recent changes to the state and federal tax codes will also be addressed. Christopher Engh is well recognized throughout Northern California for his expertise in estate planning. We are thrilled that he will be making this presentation to our chapter and that he has also agreed to answer questions.
