With interest rates near zero, investors have to be creative to find sustainable yield in mutual funds. The actions of the Federal Reserve have made it nearly impossible for the saver to find a risk-free investment that pays a reasonable rate of return. To find yield today you have to be flexible and willing to take on some degree of risk.
