The Denver Chapter is honored to hear, firsthand, the wisdom accumulated by Mark Hulbert from his 32 years of tracking (now over 180) advisory newsletters AND researching stock market history and patterns. He will tell us what he has found that works and, perhaps more importantly, what does not. His adventure in learning about the investment markets began at a free seminar where the speakers were promising extraordinary profits for potential subscribers. Instead of taking the pitch, he decided to study actual results as a guide to possible future outcomes. His Hulbert Financial Digest has been published since 1980 and now, as a member of the MarketWatch family, he provides periodic market commentary. He also is or has been a columnist for the Sunday New York Times, Barron’s, and Forbes and has keynoted several AAII national conferences in the past two decades. This presentation will be by live webcast and attendees will have the opportunity to pose individual questions.
