The AAII Boston Chapter presents...

"What’s Inside Your ETF?"

    Discussed by:

    Michael Rawson
    ETF Analyst, Morningstar

Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are often touted as tax-efficient, transparent and efficient investment vehicles. But that is not always the case. In this presentation, Michael Rawson of Morningstar will debunk many of the myths associated with these investment products and highlight many of the areas where these funds often excel. Michael will cover specialty ETFs that offer investors exposure to a variety of diverse asset classes, but sometimes at the expense of different tax treatments and an actual exposure that is different than what an investor originally expects. Concluding, Michael will divulge some of his favorite ETF investment ideas for profiting in the current market environment. All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Morningstar’s ETF Investor newsletter.
