The AAII Charlotte Chapter presents...
"What Were You Thinking?"
Discussed by:
Rajah Chacko
Senior Java Developer, Wells Fargo; Member, AAII Charlotte Chapter
Some of us trade without a second thought, often with later regrets. Some of us agonize over our trades and regret the trades that got away. Some of us watch our portfolios with anxious hearts, and pull the rip cord too soon. We do the opposite of “cut your losses short and let your profits run”; we cut our profits short and let our losses run. Rajah Chacko will give us a big-picture view of trading and give us some insight into that very elusive process of our own thought processes. Which facts (stock price, earnings report) do I examine, and what do I willingly ignore? Through what lens do I see the facts; that is, how do I interpret those facts? The interpretation must drive my behavior, or I’ll simply watch the market go by and slap my forehead when the stock rises without me.
