The AAII Silicon Valley Chapter presents...
"The Road Ahead: Good, Bad or Ugly?"
Discussed by:
Kevin Gahagan, CIMA, CFP
Principal, Senior Adviser, Mosaic Financial Partners
As of this writing in late 2012, a resolution on the fiscal cliff has still not been reached. It is clear that there will be more far-reaching issues to be addressed in the months ahead. We continue to have political gridlock in the U.S., a weak global economy and debt problems in the U.S. and countries across the globe. Despite the array of challenges confronting us, our speaker, Kevin Gahagan, advocates maintaining one’s investment discipline—but also having a discipline to maintain. Gahagan will discuss the implications of portfolio structure and strategy in a variety of economic and interest rate environments. He’ll also comment on the research on investor behavior and discuss strategies for combating the biases that inevitably influence our investment decisions.
