The AAII Milwaukee Chapter presents...

Globalize Your Thinking

    Discussed by:

    Nicole Pretzel Holahan, CRPC
Vice President, Senior Advisory; Consultant, OppenheimerFunds, Inc.

The world is interconnected. As consumers, we exemplify this truth on a daily basis. We wake up to our alarm clocks made in South Korea, turn on our Japanese televisions for the news and local weather and dress in our Malaysian shirts, our silk ties made in China and our fine leather Italian shoes. We grab our cups of coffee brewed with the finest Columbian beans and race out the door into our expertly engineered German cars. This all happens before 8 a.m. This presentation will focus on how the world is more interconnected than ever. Today's global markets offer a vast array of investment opportunities both within and outside the U.S. borders. The forces behind globalization are leading to a new balance of power, one where emerging economies play an increasing role and where consumers and businesses in the developed world must adjust in order to capitalize on opportunities and manage risks.
