The AAII Philadelphia Chapter presents...

"Strategies for Creating Your Retirement Paycheck"

    Discussed by:

    Christine Benz
Director of Personal Finance, Morningstar Inc.; Senior Columnist, Morningstar.com

It used to be easy for a middle-class retiree to earn enough income to enjoy a decent living standard. His or her former employer paid a lifetime pension and he or she could buy bank CDs paying a reasonable 5% interest rate per year. That is no longer the case. Employers are replacing guaranteed pensions with 401(k)s and the Federal Reserve is subsidizing borrowers by forcing the interest rates on safe investments down to almost zero. Thus if you are either retired or planning retirement, we urge you to listen to Christine Benz, an expert on personal finance from Morningstar, the famous investment research company. Ms. Benz will explain how to deal with these and other serious problems that retirees face today.

Attend This Meeting and Learn...
The key ingredients for successful retiree portfolios today and why each is important
The advantages of the bucket (total return) approach to retirement income planning
How to implement the bucket approach
