The AAII Eastern Michigan Chapter presents...

The Wisdom of Wyckoff

    Discussed by:

    Thomas Hamilton
    President, Special Risk Capital Management

Richard Wyckoff has been given credit as the father of technical analysis, and some of his concepts have been used in modern portfolio theory. But Wyckoff theory goes much deeper than analytic theory. He was a master of behavioral finance and reading the movements of the markets. He has studied the major players, whom he called the “smart money.” He noted that when they entered and left the market, usually at their advantage, they left only subtle signs behind. In this presentation, Thomas Hamilton will explain these techniques and how to integrate them into modern-day trading.
