by AAII Staff

RetirementView 2013 is a comprehensive retirement planning software for individuals, couples and advisers that offers simple charts and retirement savings projections.

RetirementView enables users to input personal information and balances as well as annual or company contributions in terms of tax-deferred, taxable, Social Security, tax-free and pension accounts. With this information, the program generates several graphs and spreadsheets of the projected future cash inflows and outflows. This program is useful for those planning for retirement as well as current retirees.

There are three different versions, including a free demo version of the personal edition, couples edition and professional edition. The program is free to try with no time limit, but the investment return capabilities are limited. The pro version is geared toward financial advisers and insurance agents.

Recent updates to RetirementView from its older versions include updated graphics, a renovated Help file with the new tax rates and Social Security changes, and fixed bugs in the Tax-Free Withdrawals and Savings Graph of the program.
