Stock Chart Wizard is a recently updated program that helps investors create, tweak, analyze and export several different types of charts. You can also create several watchlists to track stocks or indexes of your choice. Two years of historical data is available with the download. The charts that are created are pulled from Yahoo! Finance and are delayed by 20 minutes.

An interesting capability of Stock Chart Wizard is that you can overlay a comparison chart of another stock or index for comparative analysis. This feature can be activated under Charts and Preferences. Once you’ve entered a ticker symbol into your watchlist, double-click the ticker symbol and the chart will appear on the right-hand side. Two charts are automatically displayed on the right side of the program: a bar chart and a volume chart. The default time range is one year, but that can be easily customized. Charts can also be exported to folders in CSV format.

Stock Chart Wizard provides several different technical indicators including MACD (Moving Average Convergence/Divergence), MACD Histogram, Momentum, On Balance Volume and more. Users can display up to two simple moving averages, two exponential moving averages, Bollinger bands and a comparison line.

There are many different charting options available through Stock Chart Wizard. The Help Center, which opens up in its own tab, explains each tool in the program thoroughly. Stock Chart Wizard has a 14-day free trial and is $19.00 for purchase. The program has recently been updated to include new features and has fixed previous bugs.
