Stock TickerPicker is a stock charting and investing analysis app for iOS.

Stock TickerPicker from MF Software is a “free” app that delivers real-time quotes and charts to your iOS device. The app is free to download and install from the Apple Store, but it offers premium options that you can buy within the app, including intraday charts and investment insights on individual stocks.

By default the app opens to the Stock Charts page of the stock you last pulled up. The page includes the latest quote of the selected stock, dollar and percentage change for the last trading period, high and low price for the latest trading period, and trading volume. There are three chart panes that you can customize to include the indicators you want. The top chart pane can contain either the RSI, MACD or stochastic indicators, any of which you can modify to fit your trading preferences. The middle pane contains a candlestick chart of the selected stock and you can also add Bollinger bands and a simple moving average ranging from five days to 200 days. For the bottom pane, you can again choose from either the RSI, MACD or stochastic indicators. The free app allows you to plot charts from one month up to two years in duration. A standard intraday charting subscription will give you delayed one- and five-day intraday charts for $14.99 for six months or $23.99 for one year.

The app also lets you set up a watchlist of your favorite stocks and lets you track their activity on a single page. You can specify how often the app updates the quotes (every five to 60 seconds). The watchlist shows the current stock price and dollar and percentage change for the last trading day. Tapping any of the tickers on your watchlist will take you to its stock charts page.

Stock TickerPicker is a good app for those looking for simple, clean stock charts on their iPhone or iPad. It doesn’t have the most extensive collection of technical indicators, but it does offer a good visualization of a stock’s recent price activity.

Description says nothing about comparison of this app with the multitude of free ones out there. I'd especially would have liked a comparison with
MSN finance or Yahoo finance.
