Chapter 12 of the download, A Key to Terms and Statistics, provides definitions for each data element presented on the mutual fund data pages.

The mutual funds in this file are arranged by category. Chapter 3 of the download, Mutual Fund Categories, helps explain how the funds are categorized. If you are not sure which category a given fund is placed in, you can use the Find function within the Adobe PDF reader to search for text such as a fund’s ticker symbol or name. The Find function is activated by clicking on the binoculars icon within the toolbar or by clicking on the Locate a Fund bookmark

To download the PDF file, go to the AAII Guides area of the site (www.aaii.com/guides) and choose Top Mutual Funds Guide, or go to www.aaii.com/guides/mfguide. In order to download the PDF file, you need a copy of Adobe Reader installed. You can get a free copy of this software from www.adobe.com.
