Buffett Valuation Spreadsheet

by CI Staff

The Buffett Valuation Spreadsheet is a stock valuation spreadsheet designed to perform stock analysis on individual firms using the techniques of Warren Buffett as outlined in the book “Buffettology” (Rawson & Associates, 1997). Developed by AAII, this spreadsheet has a companion article that explains the spreadsheet and the analysis it provides. The Buffett Valuation Spreadsheet is discussed by Wayne A. Thorp, CFA, in “Valuing Stocks the Warren Buffett Way” in the third quarter 2009 issue of Computerized Investing.

Certain cells in the spreadsheet are highlighted in yellow, representing user inputs. After all the inputs are entered, the spreadsheet will calculate projected company data using historical and sustainable growth rates.
