Evernote makes it easy to remember important details and capture information on a daily basis. A user can unclog his memory by using Evernote to create to-do lists, make notes, clip entire Web pages, manage passwords and record audio. Evernote is especially useful because it is easily accessible on all electronic platforms, including computers, cellphones and tablets. We discussed the benefits of the Evernote app for Android here.
When the application is opened, the user is given a brief explanation about Evernote and what its capabilities are. In each note that you create in the application, Evernote’s click-and-drag feature allows you to drag and drop images, audio files and PDFs directly into the note. You can copy and paste images or text from other websites as well. Once the note is saved, you can add a title, location or tag. If a tag is saved, it automatically is loaded into an archive that can be searched by keyword or tag from any device later on.

The Attributes tab allows the user to search through the archives of his notes based on when it was created or modified, what it contains or the source. If you want to know what you’ve added specifically from your mobile device, you can click Mobile and it’s all listed.
Evernote’s Trunk tab consists of a wide variety of third-party apps, services and products that help users get more out of Evernote. The Share tab allows the user to share notes or photos by email or by posting to Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. All notes that are created are listed along the left-hand side of the application. There is another section for tags, where a list of tags that you’ve placed on notes or images can be found.

With the Evernote application on your phone, you can take pictures that will automatically upload to your Evernote server, and these images can be accessed at a later date on any of your devices. One of the unique and extremely useful features of Evernote is an optical character recognition) on your images, which allows you to find them by searching for the text in the images. For example, you can take pictures of products you want to remember and search for the image by typing in the product name.
