Interesting article showing how difficult investing and stock analysis for individuals really is and why I use mostly index funds any long term investments but prefer short term trading based on technical analysis.
I find it exasperating when a company works hard, reports increased sales and earning but misses an analysts estimate by one penny and the stock takes a big loss. I think the analyst should be fired!! If the company does poorly the stock should go down but the stock should not go down just because some little analyst guessed wrong.
It is funny to see some analyst forecast earnings to 3 decimal places.....really???
