YLoader, a program offered by Tradery, allows users to download historical prices from several data providers. The program itself is very intuitive and does not take long to learn.
After downloading, installing and opening the program, a window pops up with a list of stocks on the left. This is the default list of symbols for which the program will download historical prices. You are able to import symbols from a text (or comma-separated values file, or you can also manually enter the symbols into the program before downloading. Be sure to select a data path and output file. When the prices are downloaded, the information is automatically exported into the folder you requested as a .csv file. The data in the output files include the date, high, low, open and close, but the output figures are not customizable.
