J&L Financial Planner is a tool that allows you to create simple or complex financial scenarios based on financial events throughout your life. The program executes the scenarios and displays the effects on net worth throughout a selected time span. Scenarios can be created based on mortgages, loans, credit card debts, withdrawals, deposits, and transfer events.
The program also incorporates an optional Monte Carlo analysis to test scenarios up to 1,000 times with random interest and inflation rates. MRD (Minimum Required Distributions) and Revenue Code Section 529 (College Investment Savings) can be included in the scenario analysis as well.
The program also contains an optional historical return analysis. Additionally, the program handles unlimited budgets and tracks individual budget items.
