You Need a Budget (YNAB) is a financial budgeting software that tracks expenses and income and allows users to create and maintain a budget. Reports show monthly spending trends and totals. The program categorizes spending and presents the area from which most spending occurs. Line graphs also track any trends in spending and pinpoint areas where spending is increasing. Graphs can be exported into an Excel file or printed. The program can be installed on multiple computers, and the budget file can be shared across a network. There is also an iPhone app for entering transactions on the go and then syncing them to a computer.
