Biography:
Joe Lan, CFA, is assistant financial analyst for the American Association of Individual Investors. He writes extensively for Computerized Investing, a quarterly newsletter considered to be the premier publication covering the use of personal computers for financial planning, investment analysis and portfolio management, and he frequently contributes articles for the AAII Journal. He also provides technical support for Stock Investor Pro and serves on the Stock Superstars Report (SSR) and Dividend Investing advisory committees.
Lan is a graduate of Northeastern Illinois University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in accounting and finance, and holds a master’s degree in accounting and financial management from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Lan holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
