C. Mitchell Conover, Ph.D., CAIA, CFA, is an associate professor in finance at the University of Richmond. He has conducted seminars for investment professionals throughout the U.S. and Canada for Charles Schwab, Kaplan Financial, NYSSA, and Scotia Bank. He is the author of “Investment Issues in Emerging Markets” and coauthor of “Equity Securities” and “Portfolio Management.” Professor Conover’s research has been cited in the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Barron’s, among others. It has appeared in the Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Banking and Finance, The Journal of Business, The Journal of Portfolio Management, The Journal of Investing, and numerous other journals. He is a FINRA securities arbitrator and a member of the CFA Digest Editorial Board.
