The AAII San Francisco Chapter presents...

"There is Always a Bull Market ... Somewhere"

    Discussed by:

    Paul Charbonnet

Paul Charbonnet maintains that there is always a bull market to be found somewhere, and that in order to “beat the market,” the first step is to understand how markets grow and change. The next step is dynamic diversification across those changing markets. Using the strategies contained in his highly successful FastTrack investment software, Paul will demonstrate how equity, hard asset, and bond investors who are willing to trade monthly or quarterly can easily expect to achieve annualized returns 5% to 10% above the market with less risk than buy/hold or market timing strategies. The good news is that this does not require investing in individual stocks, futures or options, but can be done with a diversified portfolio of ETFs and mutual funds with minimum cost, risk and effort.

"High-Dividend Investing: What You Need to Know"

    Discussed by:
    Harry Domash
    Analyst, Author and Columnist

With banks paying near record low yields, and the stock market in disarray, it’s time to take a hard look at high-dividend stocks. At this highly interactive presentation, well-known columnist and respected analyst Harry Domash will explain which dividend stock categories look best right now, and which you should avoid. You’ll also learn how to find, research and analyze dividend-paying common stocks, energy trusts, closed-end funds, master limited partnerships and preferred stocks. Learn from Harry where to get the information that you need to make informed investment decisions—and how to utilize this valuable information to increase performance in your portfolio.
