The AAII Birmingham Chapter presents...

Exchange-Traded Funds

    Discussed by:

    John M. Inzer

Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are one of the most important products created for individual investors in recent years. For nearly a century, traditional mutual funds offered many advantages over building a portfolio one security at a time. ETFs take the benefits of mutual fund investing to the next level. While ETFs offer many benefits, their low cost and many available investment options can lead investors to make unwise decisions. John Inzer will discuss the basics of ETFs, their structure and how they work. The information he will present should give an investor the information needed to decide on investing in ETFs.
