The AAII Connecticut Chapter presents...

"Defining Moments in the Brokerage Industry"

    Discussed by:

    Howard G. Berg
Founder, Principal, Jackson, Grant Consulting Group

Rarely does one get a chance to relive history through the eyes of a seasoned Wall Street executive. Although he is widely known in the industry, you will not likely recognize his name since he keeps a low profile.

Howard G. Berg has the unique perspective of a Wall Street senior executive who lived through the industry’s evolution from when the market executed 2 million to 10 billion shares a day. For the last 20 years, through Jackson, Grant Consulting, Howard has consulted with attorneys in over 1,700 cases involving securities disputes between brokers and their customers.

Attendees will receive a copy of one of his publications relevant to this topic, “The Role of Arbitration When Regulation Lags - From “Investigate Before You Invest” (1950) to “Sell Them to the Dumb Ones” (1990).
