The AAII San Francisco Chapter presents...

ETF Rotation: Backtesting and Live Account Management

    Discussed by:

    Jackie Ann Patterson
    Consultant to Delta Investment Management

Jackie Ann Patterson’s presentation will reveal the ups and downs of investing in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) using a simple strategy to select among top funds. The first half covers backtesting of ETF rotation strategies, including brand new data on an advanced strategy. Following that will be a discussion of lessons learned in the first year of live account management.

The Upgrading Strategy and What It Is Telling Us Now

    Discussed by:
    Janet Brown
    President, FundX Investment Group

Janet Brown’s presentation will cover upgrading, a systematic method of identifying market leadership among mutual funds and ETFs that fit your needs. Return momentum over the past one, three, six and 12 months is a key focus of the “Upgrading Strategy.” The FundX Investment Group (formerly DAL Investment Company) has been using the strategy in its newsletter and account management businesses for over three decades, and in the FundX Upgrader funds since 2001. The newsletter has received high ratings by the Hulbert Financial Digest over the long term.
