The AAII Washington D.C. Metro Chapter presents...

"How I Invest Using the Wishing Wealth General Market Index and Green Line Break-Outs"

    Discussed by:

    Eric D. Wish
Director of the Center for Substance Abuse Research and of the Honors College Stock Market Challenge, University of Maryland

Dr. Eric Wish uses the General Market Index (GMI) to keep him on the right side of the general market’s trend: to get him out during downtrends and back in during uptrends. Wish will discuss the GMI and its performance since 2006. He will also explain his concept of green line stocks and how they help him to select growth stocks. While he will use technical analysis and the TC2000 analytic software to illustrate his methods, his approach is simple and easy to understand and does not require skills in higher mathematics or statistics. Dr. Wish will share his experiences to help other boomers protect their hard earned savings as they invest. This will not be a discussion of high-risk speculative investments; the focus will be on how one might invest in the index ETFs and protect oneself from large losses.
