Can you believe it’s already been a full month? Now that you’re fully vested, we want to make sure you’ve begun the Essential Investing (EI) Course — if you haven’t, follow the steps below. For those who have, we walk through some course highlights and some tips and tricks for the best learning experience.

How to Begin Your AAII EI Course 

Haven’t started your EI Course yet? No problem! We walk you through how to take advantage of your purchase, whether you want to take the course in the Structured or FlexiLearn format. Both versions are accessible through the same four-step process. Here’s a quick reminder of how to get started: 

 

Step 1: Access the Course 

To access the EI Course, you can click on the registration link in this email, log in on the AAII home page and select Classes from the My Tools menu in the top-right corner or go directly to www.aaii.com/learn. 

 

Step 2: Log In 

At the AAII Learning Center website, log in with your existing AAII member credentials or the credentials you set up when registering for the EI Course.  

 

Step 3: Find Your Course 

After logging in, select My Classes from the right-hand menu and choose either of the two EI Course versions to begin. 

 

Step 4: Start Learning 

Navigate to the first tab labeled “Start Course Here” and follow the ongoing navigation guidance to course completion.

Additional Tricks for the Best Experience 

  • You can pass each test by watching the video and passing the class test (other actions, while recommended, are not necessary). 
  • All classes can be taken an unlimited number of times.
  • Use associated workbooks and tables for your own investing needs.
  • Turn on closed captioning for added comprehension!
  • Use a desktop computer or laptop to access the EI Course for the best learning experience.
