Whether you are just starting, halfway through or already finished with the EI Course, we’re here to support you. If you’re on the EI Structured learning path, completing the certification process may take some time and effort, but we promise it will pay off in the long run.
When you complete the EI Structured Course and pass the final exam, you’ll earn the official AAII EI Course Certification. This certification shows your dedication to learning important investing principles and strategies. You’ll also receive several exclusive benefits that help enhance your investing education.
If you opted for the EI FlexiLearn Course, you can progress through the courses at your own pace, without the pressure of a final exam or the need to obtain certification. It’s perfectly fine to start with either the Structured or FlexiLearn path and then decide which one best suits your needs. This flexibility allows you to customize your learning experience according to your personal needs and schedule.

How to Begin Your AAII EI Course
Both the EI Structured and EI FlexiLearn Course versions come with your single EI Course registration. Both versions can be accessed through the same straightforward four-step process. For the most optimal learning experience, please access the course using a desktop computer or laptop. Here’s how to get started:
Step 1: Access the Course
To access the EI Course, you can click on the registration link in this email, log in to the AAII home page and select Classes from the My Tools menu at the top-right corner or go directly to www.aaii.com/learn.
Step 2: Log In
At the AAII Learning Center website, log in with your existing AAII member credentials or the credentials you set up when registering for the EI Course.
Step 3: Find Your Course
After logging in, select My Classes from the right-hand menu and select either of the two EI Course versions to begin.
Step 4: Start Learning!
Navigate to the first tab labeled “Start Course Here” and follow the ongoing navigation guidance to course completion.

As you can see, the EI Course has a lot in store for individual investors just like you. Let’s explore the EI Structured and EI FlexiLearn Course options to find out which one best suits your learning style.
The EI Course offers two distinct paths:
EI Structured Course: This path includes over 12 hours of video content — featuring keynote speakers like Bruce Johnstone from Fidelity — and culminates in a comprehensive final exam. Successful completion grants EI Course Certification along with exclusive member benefits. This is the recommended format.
EI FlexiLearn Course: This path offers flexibility to explore the course content at your own pace, including all materials from the Structured Course. You can access all classes at any time. However, the FlexiLearn option does not provide EI Course Certification or the benefits that come with it (see below).
Whichever course learning path you choose, you will get a comprehensive education that you can use time and time again throughout each life phase.
