AAII Model Shadow Stock Portfolio Update

After performing his quarterly review of the Model Shadow Stock Portfolio, Dr. Cloonan has made the following changes:

Sells:

• Marlin Business Services Corp. (MRLN) was sold since it is primarily involved in financing office and commercial equipment. The Shadow Stock Portfolio does not invest in financial firms or those primarily involved in leasing and rental operations.

Buys:

• RCI Hospitality Holdings Inc. (RICK)
• Roadrunner Transportation Systems (RRTS)

We will provide additional information in the December Model Portfolio Update, which we will email on December 15. Dr. Cloonan will also discuss his buys and sells in his column in the January 2017 AAII Journal.
