AAII Model Shadow Stock Portfolio Update

After performing his quarterly review of the Model Shadow Stock Portfolio, James Cloonan has made the following changes:

Sells:

• CDI Corporation (CDI) was sold after violating its earnings probation for a second consecutive quarter.
• LMI Aerospace Inc. (LMIA) was sold after violating its earnings probation for a second consecutive quarter.
• Willis Lease Finance Corporation (WLFC) was sold based on a new portfolio rule that excludes companies in the rental & leasing industry. More details regarding this rule will be in Jim Cloonan’s column in the October issue of the AAII Journal.

Buys:

• AV Homes Inc. (AVHI)
• Beazer Homes USA, Inc. (BZH)
• Hallador Energy Co. (HNRG)
