Biography:
Carol Loomis was born in and grew up in Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a journalism degree and worked for two years at the Maytag Company as editor of a house organ. Loomis began working at Fortune Magazine in 1954 and has never left. She is married with two children and four grandchildren.
Carol Loomis is a senior editor-at-large for Fortune and author of "Tap Dancing to Work: Warren Buffett on Practically Everything, 1966-2012" (Portfolio Hardcover, 2012).
