Biography:

Greg Swenson, CFA, is senior analyst and portfolio co-manager for the Grizzly Short Fund, Leuthold Core Investment Fund, Leuthold Global Fund, Leuthold Global Industries Fund, and Leuthold Select Industries Fund.

Along with his portfolio management duties, Swenson contributes to quantitative development and maintenance of Leuthold’s global investment strategies and the analysis of domestic securities. He monitors and evaluates the quantitative factors employed for investment selection and dissects performance attribution.

Swenson joined Leuthold Weeden Capital Management in 2006. Previously, he was a consultant and account executive at FactSet Research Systems based in Chicago, where he worked with portfolio management and analyst clients to expand the depth of their capabilities in securities and portfolio analysis. While at FactSet, Swenson worked extensively with the Leuthold research team on the initial development of Leuthold’s global marketplace data analysis.

Swenson graduated with honors from the University of Iowa with a bachelor of business administration degree in finance. He is a holder of the right to use the CFA designation.
