Biography:
Jeffrey M. Mercer, Ph.D., holds the Briscoe Chair in Finance in the Rawls College of Business at TexasTech University, and is a partner in McDonald Capital Management LLC, an investment advisory firm in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Mercer’s work has been covered by Fox Business News, The CBS Early Show, ABC World News This Morning, The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Forbes, CNN.com, Bloomberg Businessweek, USAToday, SmartMoney, Financial Times, and The Motley Fool.
Dr. Mercer’s research has appeared in leading outlets such as the Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Portfolio Management, Journal of Futures Markets, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Investing, and Journal of Fixed Income, among others.
