Biography: Larry Stein, CEO of Disciplined Investment Management, is the author of two books, "Peace of Mind Investing" (Chicago House Publishing, 2012) and "Value Investing" (John Wiley & Sons, 1987).

A contributor to the RetireMentor column in MarketWatch, Stein is frequently in the media for his views on investing and retirement issues.  His columns in MarketWatch are often listed among the "Most Popular in Retirement."

Stein is a CPA, a certified financial planner (CFP) and a qualified plan financial consultant (QPFC). In 2014, Larry was named Chicago Ambassador to the national CFP Board.
