Biography:

Matthew K. Willms is the president and co-founder of Quant IX Software Inc. He has been involved in the securities industry since 1987. Quant IX Software develops investment recordkeeping and portfolio management software for investors. Quant IX Software was formed in response to the successful use of a proprietary investment accounting and analysis package developed internally for Willms’ investment advisory firm. It was first made available to individual investors through mail order channels as the Quant IX Portfolio Evaluator, which received widespread acclaim from many leading investment-related publications, including PC Magazine, Forbes, Fortune and countless syndicated columns. Since 1994, it has been transformed into Investment Account Manager, which is nationally recognized as a totally comprehensive, yet intuitively designed, desktop-based portfolio management software.

Willms is a registered investment advisor representative (RIA) with the state of Wisconsin. He earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Lacrosse, in 1983, and a master's in business administration from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, in 1989.
