Biography:
Michael C. Thomsett is the author of over 70 books, including “Bloomberg Visual Guide to Candlestick Charting” (Bloomberg Press, 2012); “Trading With Candlesticks” (FT Press, 2010); “Getting Started in Options,” which is in its 8th edition (Wiley, 2010); “The Options Trading Body of Knowledge” (FT Press, 2009); “Options Trading for the Conservative Investor” (FT Press, 2010); and “Winning With Options” (Amacom, 2008). He also writes extensively on technical analysis, candlestick charting, and a wide range of other investment topics. Before starting his writing career in 1978, Thomsett was an accountant. From 1978 through 1984 he wrote part time and was a consultant in the financial services industry. He has been writing full time since 1985 and lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
