Biography:
Ryan McKeon is an associate professor of finance at the University of San Diego. McKeon has been at USD since Summer of 2009 after earning a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Georgia. Prior to earning his Ph.D., McKeon worked in London for three years, first for Goldman Sachs then Credit Suisse First Boston, as an analyst in Fixed Income Derivatives. Before his work in London, McKeon earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa.
McKeon’s research interests include asset pricing, derivative products and markets, portfolio management and fund performance. At the college level he has taught courses in investments, financial management, derivatives, international finance and research methods. His academic research includes articles published in Quarterly Journal of Accounting and Finance, Review of Accounting and Finance, Journal of Investing and Managerial Finance.
Ryan McKeon is an associate professor of finance in the School of Business at the University of San Diego. He also serves as vice president of the San Diego chapter of AAII.
