Biography:
Shelly X. Liang is a research fellow at the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER). Her research interests are in labor economics, applied econometrics, financial markets and the housing market. Prior to joining AIER, she held faculty positions at Texas Christian University and the University of Texas at Arlington and worked as an economist for the Virginia state government. She received her M.S. in applied statistics and Ph.D. in economics from Syracuse University.
