Sudhir Nanda

Biography:

Sudhir Nanda is the head of the Quantitative Equity Group at T. Rowe Price as well as a vice president and portfolio manager. He is president of the investment advisory committee of the U.S. Structured Active Small-Cap Growth Equity Strategy (TQAIX), QM U.S. Small-Cap Growth Equity (PRDSX), QM U.S. Value Equity (TQMVX), QM U.S. Small & Mid-Cap Core Equity (TQSMX), and QM Global Equity (TQGEX) funds.

Nanda has 16 years of investment experience, 15 of which have been with T. Rowe Price. Before joining the firm in 2000, he was an assistant professor of finance at Penn State University, Harrisburg. Nanda has several years of international experience in financial and general management positions with Tata Steel in India.

Nanda earned a B.A., with honors, in mathematics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He also received a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Nanda served on the Financial Accounting Standards Board's (FASB) User Advisory Council and has had several articles published in the areas of investments, mergers and acquisitions, and international finance. His papers have appeared in The Journal of Portfolio Management, Financial Management and the Handbook of Equity Style Management.
