Global X Gold Miners ETF (AUAU) is a passively managed Sector Equity Equity Precious Metals exchange-traded fund (ETF). Global X launched the ETF in 2025.
The investment seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the NYSE® Arca Gold Miners Index®.
The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in the securities of the underlying index, which may include common stocks, as well as ADRs and GDRs based on the securities in the underlying index and preferred securities with equity-like characteristics. The underlying index, as presently constituted, is designed to track the performance of global companies that are involved in the gold mining industry. The fund is non-diversified.
